Just One More Ministry (JOMM) has expanded its role to help Milwaukee’s less
fortunate during COVID-19, supporting Rebel’s mask-making efforts from day one. Since
receiving its first Rebel kits on Friday, April 3 – JOMM (and its partner Worldwide Hunger Relief)
launched a unique “porch delivery” service and has now placed more than 1,000 kits across
Southeast Wisconsin which is over 700,000 masks. Their goal is to reach 1 million masks made by
the first week of May.
Once completed, JOMM gives the masks directly to non-profits,
churches, and essential businesses with a special focus on Milwaukee’s inner city.
JOMM’s normal mission is to feed the needy using “rescued” food which it receives from
restaurants, caterers, fairs & festivals, food manufacturers, and grocery stores – through our
non-profit partners. After moving last year to a 24,000 square foot facility in Glendale, JOMM
rescued more than 1.5 million pounds of food in 2019, reducing waste and feeding the hungry at the same
time. See www.jomministry.org for more info.
